Aware ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Aware mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service. Please read it carefully. 1.1 Information You Provide
When you create an account or use Aware, you may provide us with: your name and email address; responses to journaling prompts and self-reflection exercises; goals, intentions, and desires you share with the app; subscription and payment information (processed by our payment providers — we do not store full payment card details); and any other content you choose to submit within the app.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
We automatically collect certain information when you use Aware, including: device identifiers and operating system information; app usage data, session lengths, and feature interactions; crash reports and performance diagnostics; and IP address and general location data (country/region level).
1.3 AI-Generated Content
Aware uses artificial intelligence to generate personalized content such as your manifestation blueprint. Inputs you provide to generate this content are processed by our AI service providers. We retain processed outputs to deliver and improve your experience.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to: provide, maintain, and improve the Aware service; personalize your experience and generate AI-powered recommendations; process subscriptions and transactions; send you service-related communications; analyze usage trends to improve our product; comply with legal obligations; and protect against fraud, abuse, and security threats. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your journal entries or personal reflections for advertising purposes.
3. How We Share Your Information
3.1 Service Providers
We share data with trusted third-party vendors who help us operate Aware, including cloud hosting providers, AI model providers (such as Anthropic), subscription management platforms (such as RevenueCat), and analytics services. These providers are contractually required to protect your data and may only use it to provide services to us.
3.2 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
3.3 Business Transfers
If Aware is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account information and content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with services. Aware is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected information from a child, we will delete it promptly.
